Michael Moth Greve
Michael brings more than 20 years of experience, including managing alternative investment strategies, to NIO. Most recently, Michael has served as Managing Director and Head of European Distribution at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG). He previously held positions as Head of Nordic at AXA Investment Managers, Product Development Specialist at Lehman Brothers Asset Management, and Client Manager at Nordea Investment Management. Michael is a CFA® charterholder, CFA Institute, and holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Ashvind K. Guness

Ashvind K. Guness
Ashvind has experience with alternative investments – from sourcing investments, over fundraising, transaction structuring and execution, to post-execution monitoring and exit. He has most recently served as Investment Director at the Alternative Investments team at Danske Bank and has previously been Senior Transaction Manager at DONG Energy. Ashvind holds an M.Sc. in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and an MA in International Management from CEMS.

Ulla Agesen
Ulla has 20+ years of experience from the industry, throughout her career focusing on evaluating GPs/asset managers across liquid and illiquid markets. Most recently, she was Head of Alternative Investments at Nykredit where she was responsible for building Nykredit's infrastructure FoF platform to reach EUR 1bn. Previously, she held the role as Head of Equity Research at Aon Hewitt in London and, prior to that, MD at Kirstein A/S as well as teaching assistant at Aarhus and Copenhagen Business Schools. Ulla holds a Master in Finance and Accounting from Aarhus School of Business.

Daniel brings with him M&A advisory experience from SEB Corporate Finance and industrial experience from Daimler’s own retail network. Most recently Daniel has worked with investments and portfolio management at Danske Bank Wealth Management & Danica Pension’s Alternative Investments team, where he has been responsible for a portfolio of private market investments (both funds and direct investments). Daniel holds a Master in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.

Martin has more than 20 years of international financial sector experience from both public and private institutions in Denmark and abroad. Martin worked with corporate and structured finance for Deutsche Bank in London and New York, and with investment management for the Asian Development Bank based in Manila. For the past four years, Martin has worked with alternative investments for Danske Capital and Alternative Equity Partners based in Copenhagen. Martin holds an MBA from London Business School.

Andrew is part of NIO’s investment team and focuses on sourcing and analysis of investment opportunities across asset classes. Andrew holds a MSc in Finance and Strategic Management and a BSc in International Business, both from Copenhagen Business School, and has completed coursework at London School of Economics and Korea University Business School in Seoul. He brings with him consulting experience from NNIT A/S and finance experience from ISS A/S.

Rebekka is part of our investment team and focuses on exploring and analyzing new investment opportunities across all offered asset classes. She has worked within both shipping and pharma, and, prior to joining NIO, Rebekka was an intern at Verdane Growth Capital where she gained experience with PE transactions focusing on software companies. Rebekka holds an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Emilie is part of NIO’s investment team as a part-time Analyst. Prior to joining NIO, Emilie worked at Pandora A/S for two years with strategic coordination and stakeholder management for digital deliveries. Emilie holds a bachelor's degree in European Business and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Applied Economics and Finance, both from Copenhagen Business School. During her studies, Emilie has also been teaching the obligatory course of Microeconomics at Copenhagen Business School.

Michael brings with him +25 years of experience from the financial sector. He has held several positions within Private Banking at Danske Bank, Saxo Bank and Handelsbanken. Michael has also been responsible for the Private Equity programme within Danske Bank (Merchant Bank). He holds a Master in Tax (LL.M) from Copenhagen Business School.

Jesper is part of NIO’s investor relations team. Prior to joining NIO, Jesper worked for +11 years with Nordea Wealth Management and Private Banking both domestically and abroad. Jesper has most recently served as Senior Acquisition Manager at Nordea Wealth Management and has previously held a similar role with Nordea International Private Bank. He holds a graduate diploma in business administration and finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Ulrik brings with him +25 years of experience in the Danish financial sector and he has spent +20 years working in the asset management industry in Denmark.
Prior to NIO, he worked for Alternative Equity Partners. He previously held positions at Nordea AM, SEB AM, Nykredit AM, and Danske Capital.

Casper Hammerich
Casper is part of NIO’s investor relations team and is responsible for building client relationships across the Nordic institutional market. He has spent nearly 15 years working in the asset management industry, during which he has held various roles across the sell-side, buy-side, and lately in strategy consulting. Casper was most recently Director and part of the Executive Management team at strategy consultancy Kirstein, helping asset managers solve strategic challenges and realize the growth potential in the Nordic and European countries.
Casper holds a Master in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School and London School of Economics and has held the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter since 2016.

Christian brings strategy and business development experience from McKinsey & Company and most recently private equity real estate firm NREP where he focused on fundraising and business development. Prior to NREP and McKinsey, Christian worked as a derivatives banker in Royal Bank of Scotland and worked pro-bono for an NGO analyzing alternative financing solutions. Christian holds a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from London School of Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of Copenhagen, and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School.

Nina is our head of legal and compliance and has served as corporate counsel in Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) where she developed the legal and compliance department. Further, Nina has been a part of the management of the CIP managed fund, Artemis, from 2015 - 2018. Before joining CIP, Nina was an attorney at Kromann Reumert Law Firm advising clients in business and commercial law matters. She holds a Master of Law from The University in Copenhagen.

Dorte comes from a position as Head of Policy and Legal affairs at Active Owners Denmark and has 20+ years of experience within fund administration and fund management as well as portfolio management for alternative unlisted assets. In her previous position as Business Unit Director at Intertrust, Dorte lead a team handling advanced administration and managerial services for private equity funds throughout the Nordic region and has extensive experience with complex fund and corporate structures.

Peter brings more than 35 years of experience from the finance industry with a focus on banking and fund management. Peter previously held the role as COO of Mensarius AG, Zürich and BLS Capital AS and several executive roles with various banks in Denmark. He completed his finance degree at the Copenhagen Business Academy and has continued his education with training in the areas of banking, law and leadership.

Andreas brings both audit, regulatory and financial advisory experience from Deloitte where he specialized in serving clients within the financial sector and most recently A.P. Møller Mærsk where he focused on optimizing and aligning the process for financial reporting- and controlling and moreover, financial risk management. Prior to the mentioned, Andreas has been employed within the start-up community where he focused on strategy, finance, and business development. Andreas holds a Master of Science in Audit and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration.

As NIO's Office Manager, Charlotte is responsible for office administration and NIO's events. In addition, she supports our management team and board of directors. Charlotte holds a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Language & Communication from Copenhagen Business School. Through her education and work experience, Charlotte has achieved a strong background in coordinating events and administrative tasks, ensuring a high level of service and quality. Prior to joining NIO, Charlotte worked as an Office Manager at IIH Nordic and was a Marketing and Events Coordinator at Ormco BV.
Bjarne G. Larsen

Bjarne G. Larsen
Bjarne has broad experience from the financial sector, both as a manager and as an investor. Bjarne is the founder and CEO of Q Blue Balanced, Chairman of the board at Kirk Kapital in addition to NIO. He has served as CIO at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and previously he held the same role at ATP. He has also served as Co-CEO at FIH Erhvervsbank and the CFO at Novo A/S. Bjarne has previously been a member of the Board of Directors of Topdanmark, and served as Chairman of the Investment Committee for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners Fund II.

Jesper has had an accounting and consulting career for 35 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in accounting, auditing and tax and was furthermore registered as a Certified Public Accountant. He was a partner with first KPMG and later Ernst & Young for 20 years, serving as Managing Partner/Chairman for 14 years, during which time he also audited and advised major Danish Corporates. He also served on KPMG’s global board and was later Deputy-Managing Partner for Ernst & Young Nordics. Since July 2019, he has pursued a non-executive board career and is currently the Chairman of Pihl & Søn, LM Byg and BNS, and Board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Realkredit Danmark and Danica Pension.

Mogens has 20+ years experience as a lawyer assisting institutional investors and fund managers in PE/alternative investment structures, infrastructure projects and assets. Mogens is a partner and management member at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, where he focuses on business development and capital raising, including development of CIP’s existing investment products and new business areas and products.

Christian has extensive experience within the alternative investments sector. Christian joined NREP in 2019, one of the leading European real estate private equity managers. Most recently, he co-founded the global venture capital fund, 2150, investing in climate technology companies that seek to sustainably reimagine and reshape the urban environment. When the fund incepted, it was one of largest early stage climate tech fund in Europe and one of the largest VCs in Europe based out of London and Copenhagen.

Melanie Brooks
Melanie Brooks works in the investment team and as Head of Sustainability at boutique asset manager CARN Capital in Oslo. She also serves on the board of Up Norway, Lakers Group and Applied Hydrogen AS. Prior to joining CARN, Melanie was Head of ESG Risk Monitoring at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM). She has previously held roles in ESG at Folketrygdfondet and Société Générale and was a founding member of NORSIF. Melanie holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from Said Business School, an M.Sc. in Development Studies from NMBU and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of New Mexico.

Previously a member of the Pension Policy Committee at Insurance & Pension Denmark (2012-2018) and member of the Strategy Officers Community at World Economic Forum (2014-2018). From 2013-2018 he was chairman at Dansif (Danish Social Investment Forum). He holds an Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School (2007) and an MSc in Economics from University of Copenhagen (1999).

Thomas Fabricius
Investment Director at Kirk Kapital who manages long-term wealth for the Kirk Johansen family and associated portfolios. Thomas’ focus is on asset allocation, sustainable investing and equities. Prior to joining Kirk Kapital, Thomas was chief ESG analyst and senior portfolio manager at Danske Bank Asset Management where he co-managed an actively managed global equity strategy that he co-designed to invest in companies that lead and benefit from the transition towards a sustainable future. Thomas has previously held roles at Novo Nordisk and Jyske Bank. He holds a master of science (econ.) degree from Aarhus University.
